Los Angeles houses are full of things that are worth real money to the right buyer: mid-century furniture, designer clothing and shoes, art, ceramics, cameras, records, watches. A weekend estate sale in LA prices all of it to leave the house by Sunday afternoon. We list it one piece at a time, reach the buyer who actually wants it, and pay you 75% of what it brings.
We come to you anywhere in Los Angeles County, and most often on the Westside, in the San Fernando Valley, and along the 101 toward Ventura County: Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Brentwood, Bel Air, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Hancock Park, Los Feliz, Pasadena, San Marino, La Cañada Flintridge, Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Tarzana, Woodland Hills, Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, Palos Verdes, Manhattan Beach. If your neighborhood is not listed, ask. If it is in LA County, we cover it.
We walk the house with you on day one and the family signs a list of what it is keeping. Over the next three weeks we photograph, measure and price every item for sale and give you a shared spreadsheet of all of it. Small things go on eBay to buyers across the country, from an eBay account in your name. Furniture and large pieces are listed for local pickup, which in Los Angeles means a steady stream of buyers from across the county who will collect a dining table or a sofa the same week. We are at the house two or three times a week to pack and ship, and local buyers collect at the garage with you or a family member present. The full week-by-week process is here.
Most of our Los Angeles clients are one of three things: a family settling a parent's estate, someone downsizing from a large house to something smaller, or a household moving out of state that cannot take everything. The process is the same for all three. The only thing that changes is the deadline, and if you have one, we plan the price drops around it. This is sometimes called estate liquidation; we just call it selling your things properly.
25% of what sells, after eBay fees and the cost of the box and label. No listing fees, nothing up front, nothing on items that do not sell. Local pickup sales have no deductions at all. Run your own numbers on the pricing page.
